Mr. Kim Wong emigrated to Canada exactly 30 years ago from Hong Kong. To celebrate that occasion as well as Canada's 150th birthday, he planned to have an exhibition of his photos of Canada on July 2-30th, 2017 at the Main Library. Mr. Wong only recently learned of Villa Cathay Care Home's Rejuvenation Project and its $5M fund raising goal. He immediately decided to donate the proceeds of the sales of his photos at this exhibition to Villa Cathay. His generosity stunned everyone. His kindness should be a role model for other citizens. His effort not only helps raise capitol but also awareness of Villa Cathay. If everyone can find resonance in this kind man's efforts, Villa Cathay's goal of $5M over four years will no doubt come true and the senior residents at this wonderful facility will not only receive the best care in BC but also enjoy the very best facilities to match.
